Jaime Kyle - Wild One

Jaime Kyle first came to prominence when Derek Oliver signed her to ATCO/Atlantic Records in NY, resulting in the release of her fabulous debut album ‘The Passionate Kind’. After a change of personnel at the label, Jaime extracted herself and followed up with two releases for the UK record label Now & Then, ‘Back From Hollywood’ and ‘Best of My Heart’ which came out via Frontiers, she also released the mellower ‘Untangled’ on her own label. While on holiday in the UK In 2019, Jaime made an impromptu appearance at the Ramblin’ Man festival with a rave solo performance, rehearsing the day before with a guitar lent to her by Kris Barras, who also would later go on to make a fantastic guest appearance on her new album.‘Wild One’ would seem to be an apt description of the young Kyle’s life growing up, and it is the title she’s decided to give to her long overdue new album. As she explains, “If you’re lucky in your recording career you get to make your favourite album. This is mine. My new album ‘Wild One’ encompasses a wide range of emotions; vulnerable at times and exploding with passion, I go from whispering honest feelings in your ear to screaming my guts out. This album speaks to my soul, provokes my mind, grooves my body and rocks like crazy!” As Jaime explains, “There are many incredible musicians on the album. It was a giant snowball effect that pushed the release back because more and more amazing musicians wanted to be a part of the album, giving it a timeless classic sound with a modern twist. ‘Wild One’ the album is slated for November release.
