Babylon A.D. - When The World Stops

Formed in the San Francisco Bay Area, Babylon A.D. caught the attention of industry icon Clive Davis in 1989, leading to a deal with Arista Records. Their self-titled debut went Gold, spent 38 weeks on the Billboard Top 200, and spawned three #1 Metal Radio hits: “Bang Go the Bells,” “Hammer Swings Down,” and “The Kid Goes Wild.”

Their 1992 follow-up, Nothing Sacred, produced singles “Bad Blood” and “So Savage the Heart.” The band toured extensively, with strong MTV support in the early ’90s.

Now, 36 years and nine years later, Babylon A.D. shows no signs of slowing down. Their new album, “When the World Stops, drops September 1, 2025, via Kivel Records. The title track and first video are already out, and the band will be touring Europe this fall.
