Hardland - Won't Look Back (1989-1994)

-Formed in 1989 from the ashes of UK acts, Voyager UK and FKM, the collective members of HARDLAND entered the nineties with a more aggressive approach to their music. From the towering Hard-Rock of their earlier material, featuring vocalist Ivan Markovic, through the bluesy swagger of their latest recordings (a la Badlands, Tesla and Thunder), featuring his replacement, Jonny Mellor, HARDLAND had a robust belief in what they were doing, a belief that was encapsulated by the likes of ‘Hammerfall’, ‘Get It Right’ and ‘Halfway To Heaven’.
-They recorded three demos, appeared on the ‘Metal For Muthas ‘92’ compilation and gigged locally, but struggled to gain traction in a decade that was besotted with Grunge and Brit Pop.
-HARDLAND left behind a lot of amazing songs, that have been laying criminally undetected for so many years. The "Won't Look Back (1989-1994)" CD will feature ALL the material ever recorded by this phenomenal UK Hard-Rock band, along with the usual great 16 pages booklet, full of pics, flyers, band’s memorabilia and the liner-notes by Rob Evans, telling the full story of the band !
